Deceptive Studios is an independent development studio located in the twin cities of Albury and Wodonga, Australia.
In addition to designing and developing games, Deceptive Studios develops software applications for Windows as well as websites and databases.
Jonathan has over 12 years experience in application and PLC development, database design and web development. The decision to branch out to games development came from his long lasting addiction to all the differing genres of games available. Be it small indie puzzle games to major MMO's, Jonathan has more than likely played it.
Writing and creating games has been Ashley's target in life since she began playing computer games at the age of five. Shigeru Miyamoto has been her inspiration in life and being able to create and design games like his is a dream come true.

Backseat Monitor is a simple application used to monitor the usage of a companies computers. It lists the applications used and their usage periods. It doesn't store any detail about what they are doing, for example browsing the Internet would just list "firefox.exe" or "chrome.exe" not what websites have been visited. The application is used to monitor idle and active times of all applications currently running on a computer.

A report is sent to a specified email address at a set time each day and the detail of the previous days activity is reset. Again, this email only contains information about what applications were running and their idle and active times. This allows for a company to monitor any misappropriation of computer usage in their company.
Backseat Monitor was made on request to suit a customers needs.

For those of you who love their action role-play games, Throne of Elements is for you. Created in a similar style to The Legend of Zelda, Throne of Elements is targetted at a large audience from the beginner to the genre to those who love the puzzles and fighting style of action RPG's.
Created in the Unity 3D engine, Throne of Elements will be available for Windows and Mac in late 2012 / early 2013, and are planning versions for Wii/PS3/360 in the future.
